1. About the Service
DT Stenographer provides online stenography, dictation, typing practice, tests, performance tracking and related educational features. Features may be added, changed, suspended or discontinued as necessary.
2. Student Accounts
Some features require you to create a student account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- Do not share your password or intentionally allow unauthorized access to your account.
- Do not create accounts using another person's identity or information.
- Notify the administrator if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.
3. Student ID
A Student ID may be generated for identifying your account and associating your test and practice records with your account. Keep your Student ID available when contacting support about your account.
4. Tests and Practice
Test and practice features are provided for learning, training and performance evaluation. Scores, WPM, accuracy and mistake counts are calculated using the website's evaluation system and may not represent the result of any official examination.
Users should not attempt to interfere with timers, evaluation mechanisms, database records or other technical controls used by the platform.
5. Test Results and Corrections
Test results may be reviewed or corrected by authorized administrators where appropriate. A corrected result may differ from an automatically generated result. The platform may retain previous result information for administrative or performance-record purposes.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to another user's account or private information.
- Attempt to access or modify administrative functions without authorization.
- Abuse, overload, disrupt or damage the website or its supporting services.
- Upload or submit malicious code, harmful content or material intended to compromise the service.
- Use automated methods to interfere with normal website operation without permission.
- Copy, redistribute or commercially exploit protected website content without authorization.
7. Content and Educational Material
Dictation passages, tests, questions, audio, website text, designs and other materials made available through the platform may be protected by intellectual property rights. Unless permission is provided, they should be used only for legitimate personal learning and testing purposes.
8. Premium Services
Certain features may be available only to Premium users. Premium eligibility, duration, pricing and payment procedures will be displayed through the applicable Premium/payment pages when such functionality is available.
Premium access may expire according to the applicable plan period. The website may automatically return an account to its Free status after the Premium period ends.
9. Payments and Refunds
Where paid services are offered, payment instructions, applicable charges and refund conditions will be provided through the relevant payment process. Do not share OTPs, banking passwords, card PINs or other confidential banking credentials with the website administrator or through ordinary website forms.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, technical problems, updates or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
11. Account Restriction or Termination
Access may be restricted, suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or protection of the platform and its users, subject to applicable law.
